Just over a week ago, on Tuesday, January 27th, Invicta Fighting Championships announced that I was going to have a spot on their February card. I was elated: I would finally get my real start with Invicta. I was slated to fight Christine Stanley, a formidable striker who finished her last fight with a spinning-kick knockout that has practically gone viral. My team and I were very pleased.

The Intense Cage Fighting's (ICF) May 16th card is comprised of all female fighters, with both professional and amateur bouts. I will have at least one match that night (possibly two) as part of a four woman pro flyweight tournament to find the ICF's first female champion. Of course, I am now in hard training mode to prepare for this stellar opportunity.
